Danny Myburgh was born in 1962, she currently lives and works in Johannesburg where her studio is located at the Bag Factory Artists’ Studios. Myburgh comes from a background in Art Theraphy. She is interested in how our childhood memories affect us during the course of the rest of our lives and explores this issue in her charcoal drawings. More recently she is interested in how do inherited memories affect us, and how do we become aware of memories that we have not experienced ourselves. Myburgh has had one solo show and regularly shows work in group shows.
