Ann Marry Gollifer grew up in Solomon Islands and Trinidad. She has been living and working in Botswana for 30 years she is an artist whose practice includes painting, print-making, writing and photography. In 1983 she completed her masters degree in History of Art at Edinburgh University. travelled extensively throughout the country gathering images and words from the people and places she has encountered. She is interested in the disparate communities she meets and their relationships to one another and the landscapes in which they are embedded. Gollifer has worked in South Africa and has exhibited work with CIRCA and Everard Read.
