Matthews Makgotlho born in Utizight, Limpopo. He currently works and lives in Johnnesburg since relocating in 2012 to pursue his interest in Art. Makgotlho studied art at Artist Proof Studio in Johannesburg, obtaining a Certificate in Printmaking. Upon graduating at Artist Proof Studio he was offered an internship at their Pro-Shop unit, which thereafter resulted in employment in 2015. He has participated in several exhibitions, Turbine Art Fair, FNB Joburg Art Fair, Artist Proof Studios and Polokwane Art Museum.
